FAQs

I have absolutely no dance experience or rhythm, can you still help me?
Of course, we are here to teach you, no matter what level you are at. We break down the dances through technique and patterns that are adapted to your style of learning.

I want to get ready for a wedding, what do I need to learn and how soon should I come in?
The most appropriate dances you should learn are foxtrot, rumba, swing, and hustle. This way you have a good mix between smooth and rhythm dances. It is best to come in a few months before the wedding to be comfortable with multiple types of dances.

We also choreograph dances to specific songs that may be used for the bride and groom or the father/daughter dance.

What do I do if I don’t have a partner?
No partner is needed. Through private lessons, you will learn one-on-one with an instructor. Otherwise, we mix up partners in group classes so everyone has the opportunity to dance with someone. This is also a great way to gain experience dancing with others to learn how to lead and follow better.

What do I need to wear?
Wear comfortable shoes, preferably dress shoes, as street shoes will stick to the dance floor making it difficult to move. As far as clothing goes, we do not have a dress code, just wear something casual and comfortable.

I just want to learn how to dance so I can go out on the weekends, do you do that?
We offer many different learning styles adapted to your needs, whether it be social, formal or competitive. Before starting any lessons, we will ask you what your goals are and create a program based on what you are looking to do.
